Well, here it is 6/2021. It has been a long time since I was here and a lot has happened. We have gotten older and our health is not as good but that can be expected as we age. Carl is in a short term rehab place till he gets his strength built up again. his Parkinson's is not doing good and his COPD and he has dementia. 

    it is already getting hot here. it is supposed to be 115 to 117 this next week. I am not ready for it to get that hot this early in the summer.

Well here it is Nov. the 7 and election night and we are listing to the returns and I think it is all a big joke. I just hope that it all turns out for the best. Today is Jacob's Birthday sure do miss that kid. I am so proud of him. He and Lizz are doing so good. Wonderful young adults and so proud to call them mine.
    I sure do enjoy doing my cakes and we are trying something different all the time. We have so much fun doing it together. It is so fun having Pam to do all this with me. She is such a good friend.
    Well looks like we have a Rep. President which I never believed he could pull it off. I hope we are not sorry for all of this.

Well here it is Aug where did the time go well let me see Carl has had pneumonia and we made a trip up to Mn. this last of May and came home the last part of June. We were up for Abby's Graduation and now she is off to Collage. She is such a sweet young lady. We were able to be up for David 30th Birthday also and his Mom Shelly surprised him by coming up. we all went out to eat and it was so good to see all the kids and Grand kids and Great Grand one to. We are so lucky. Then back home and had a 4th cook out with friends and family. Then Carl was in the Hospital second week of this month  for five days with Pneumonia again. He is much better now but will never get over his COPD. We just got back from up by Falstaff as Shelly and Scott rented a place for a long weekend for her Birthday. We went up on Sat. and spent the night and came back today Sunday. Sure had a great time. Went out to eat and had a wonderful meal. We also went to the farmers marker this morning before we left  had such a great time. Carl drove all the way and he did much better coming back then going but we made it and had a great time. I have my eye sugary This Tues. the 23rd. I will be glad when it is over.                                        This is the cake I made for Shelly

     

well today it is raining and cloudy and I am tired of this weather. I am ready for some warmer days and sun shine. We still go to McDonald's everyday in the A.M. and our group stays about the same. We are going to a movie today with our friends Tom and Pam to see Joy. Carl was sick in Nov. and the kids came down. Michele and Jim and Abby came first and about a week letter Jon and Genevieve and the kids came down and I was sick during that time. We are planing on going up north for Abby Graduation this year around the last part of May. We will see how our  health goes. That will tell if we go and how long we stay.

This was when Jim and Michele and Abby was down and we went out to eat up to the Lake and had lunch. It is so pretty there we love it up there.

Well here it is almost Fathers Day and I am going to attempt to do a Fathers Day Cake so I will put pictures of it latter. I am doing dinner over here. Pam and Tom and Family and Shirley and Little Helen and of course Shelly and Scott.
      Jake and Liz are coming down July the tenth and staying for nine days and I can hardly wait. We are going to San Diego while they are here. He wants to go back to the ocean and Coronado Is.
    We are going out to eat with a dear friend Albert who is 100 years young and Shirley and Shirl. He is such a joy to be around.
    Well guess I will go shower and get ready as it is about 110 today and that is hot even if it is dry Heat ha. Well till next time
