Wed.

Here it is wed again and a week has gone by and I don't know where it went to. That might be a sign of old age, don't know and can't remember. It has been really hot here and I am ready for a vacation to somewhere it is cool and on a Island all by my self  That sounds good now but probably would only last a few days until I would want people around again. Have to take Claude lunch and dinner again but I do that every day now but that doesn't take long and it sure breaks up the day for him. He such a sweetie. Carl and I and Shelly and Neal went to Midwest Rest. and had dinner it was two for one and was very good. Carl and I then went over to the friends house (Gerald & Helen ) and played a game of cards. We sure do enjoy them a lot.
      Well guess I will hush for now and get some work done but not going to do much as I am old and hot and tired so guess it is time for a nap but then again it is always time for a nap. Haaaaaaaaa

Wed.

not much went on today I took claude Lunch and again and Dinner and we went 99 cent store and went and got hair cuts and then watched t.v. some and now I am on this. It was a very good day I made cookies and took some over to this lady that we know and then ate some ourselves.Humm they are good chocolate chip with Carmel in the middle. Again Humm....... Getting ready to go to bed so till next time. Love to all....... 

Sunday

We have been out to Luke Air Force Base all weekend and have really had a nice relaxing time. We had to get new ID cards and get my meds so we turned the house over to Shelly and came out for a mini vacation and it has been fun. Now I hope our house is still standing as we left Shelly there in charge and just hope she isn't having wild parties like her and Julie use to do when they were younger. Thank God they are getting older to haaaaa. We will be home tomorrow about noon and things will get back to normal what ever that is. We miss our friends Gerald and Helen as we have become joined at the hip but what a nice couple to be joined to.

        Not much to talk about it is cool here and windy and you would think that you were in Texas but it can be windy here to some of the time and that I don't like because of the dust storms. Guess every place has it deaw backs no place or no one is perfect but I am getting pretty close to that HA........ Well with that I will sign off till next time. Friday

Well today is a wonderful day and it may be our first 100 degree day for this year. Carl and I are going to the base for a couple of days for a mini vacation but Shelly will be here so the house will still be standing when we get back I hope she is out of the wild party age. She will be taking care of the guy that I take care of everyday and I will be just a phone call away and I will call every night. Sure am going to enjoy this time alone even if we are by ourselves a lot of the time as Shelly is gone a lot but now we will be completely away so that is better. Some times I just need this and I think Carl does to. I miss traveling so much at times I think that is when I get down but not today........... Don't get me wrong I love it here and I love our place but some times you just want to pack up and go maybe I am part Gypsy. Mom always said I was........... well till next time have a blessed day..........

Monday night

It has been a long time since I have been here and so much has happened but today I made Banana bread and went and took care of the guy that I take care of everyday at lunch but Carl went at lunch and I went at dinner time. I talked to Jake to day and that is always good. I had a wonderful Mothers  Day. We went on a picnic at the Lake and it was so nice. I couldn't have had it any better only if the rest of the kids were there with us. I sure do love it her but I sure miss the other kids. Oh yes I got a beautiful bouquet form Penelope and Jon and Gen and a tree rose from Shelly and Carl and I went and had our feet done and just had a wonderful day but all days our good for us well I am off to bed and I will catch up slowly..............
