Today hasn't been a good day. It has been one of those days that I feel so alone I would be alone even in a crowd of people. Just can't shake the feeling. It has been a raining day and I don't like them and it is close to Christmas and I don't like the Holidays. Well guess I will quite complaining as it doesn't do any good. No one wants to hear that any way. I think I will go to bed and cover up my head. 

Can't sleep night

Went to bed but up again as I can't sleep and was here and then I realized that it had been over a month since I had wrote on my blog. Well here I go it has been a rainy day all day and it is suppose to rain tomorrow again and I know that we need the rain but I sure miss the sunshine. Went to the Swap Meet on Sunday and spent to much money and now I feel bad that I did use my head and say I don't need that. The money that we spent on the house and what I would like to do yet so I need to watch my spending for a while. Well what is done is done and I will just have to do better from now on.  

Thursday night

This has been a great day and we have got so much done. It has been a long time since I was here. Carl has had his surgery on his eye lids and it was so much more as he had to have his eyebrows lifted also and his lower lids tacked to the bone in the corner of his outer eye. He is not the best sick person as he has never had much wrong and he won't do what he is suppose to do and is just a wee bit stubborn lol. We got the house almost done and it sure looks nice and so much bigger now. We have to put the bar stools together yet and get the TV hung on the wall yet but it is getting there.    

Great Day in AZ.

This is a great day and the rest of the week sounds like it is going to be even better. The weather is getting cooler and this is my time of year and we are having some work done on the house and I am so excited to be getting it done. We went to mac and Dons and had breakfast and then went and had our adjustments on our bodies but we should have had a attitude adjustment also as some people would say lol.
    One a very serious note we lost a dear friend Sunday and it is so hard one the ones that are left behind but we know that she is in a better place as she had put up such a good fight against Cancer. I guess God needed another voice in his choir.

Sad day

Well we just Had a great  lunch with Claude and Mike and Norma and Shelly and Carl and Me. It is so nice of them to include us on family lunches. They are such nice people we are so lucky to know them. We are praying for Mike to heal fast and good. Carl is watching the game with his eyes shut and so is Shelly but I couldn't go to sleep so here I am. It is a beautiful day and what could I ask for setting here listening to Conway Twitty and playing on the computer. 

Friday and I am glad

This is a day that is just dragging by and I don't know why. It started out fine and then went south fast. I took lunch to Claude and Carl took Martha to get her hair done and now he is up the street trying to help another couple with a couple of things. Wish we could go some place for about a week or two but that is just not in the cards right now. I want the house worked on and don't know who to get to do the work oh well that is how it is going so guess I will stop crying a river ha

Sad day

Today is a very sad day as we have lost one of our best friends and I feel sorry for his family. I will miss the back and forth that he and I did and the going out to eat that we use to do before he got sick. The great card games that we had and just the closeness and the laughter. We will still have Helen but one forth of us is gone. I know that he is in a better place and that he is not in pain anymore and I am thankful for that but he will surely be missed. 

Day after Surgery

Carl had his second eye surgery yesterday and it went real good. He went back for a check up today and the Dr. said it was looking good but he still see double but it is better then yesterday as he was seeing triple. It will take time for his eyes to adjust but of course he wants to read the paper so he is pouting.
       It is hot here but not to bad but I am ready for it to start to cool down. About the time I get the patio cleaned off another dust storm comes along. well this is about all I am in the mood for so till next time

Thursday night

Well today was a good day Carl went for his follow up visit with the Dr. after surgery and all was great. The Dr. told him that after she does the other eye he may not need glasses all the time only to read. That would be just great as his glasses are so thick and even if he does have to wear glasses they won't be so thick.
         I didn't do to much today just took care of my guy that I do and he is so funny and so cute. I really enjoy him. Guess I will go and watch a little bit of the boob tub

wed evening

Well Carl had his surgery done today and seems to be doing great. He says he thinks he can see better out of his bad eye better then he has ever been able to do. He got there about 7:45 this morn. and we got home about noon. I haven't done much today only take a nap with him and take care of the guy that we watch after and all that was good. We go back in the morning at 8:45 for a follow up so hope all that goes good.
        Not to much new other then what I have already said and that Carl just went to bed so think I will follow real soon 

It has been a while since I was here so here goes. We went to Mn. the last part of June to Granddaughter Kelsey Graduation party and it was sure nice. There were so many people there friends and family the turn out was great and for a great young and beautiful lady. We are so proud of her she has done so good in school all the way through a very smart young lady.
We got there on 6-26-2011 and met a bunch of people that Carl worked with when he worked at Metro waste. We all met at Obbs Bar there in St. Paul. Was so nice to see every one.
We got to spend some time with each of the kids and grand kids and that is always wonderful.we stayed at the Military Base while we were there that way we could come and go as we wanted and didn't put the kids out and we could nap when ever haaaa.
We got back on 7-2-11 and on the way home we stopped in Sheldon Ia. and spent the night with our good friends Wayne and Lucy and then we met at McDonald's in Sheldon with a couple from here part time so that was fun to see them also. Then down to Omaha,Ne. to see Harry who is 96years old and is doing good and still has that wonderful little grin that we all love. It was hard to get there as the MO. River was flooding but we made it and had a wonderful visit. We left there and went to Cheyenne.WY. at a base then to Albuquerque,NM. then on home so we had a real nice trip and got to see some of our good friends but of course not all of them and so sorry to have missed so many.
We are glad to be home and was very tired when we got here Carl drove all the way and I just rode along but was tried anyway. Well it is late and I am off to bed so good night world

Thursday and Hot

Well today it is cooler then yesterdays 110 today it is suppose to be 108 and I just got back from doing Claude for lunch. We will be leaving here on the 20th to drive to MN. and We will be stopping in K.C, MO. 23ed for a night with my niece and her family. Well be so glad to see all of them.
Trying to get ever thing done here and my job all caught up where Shelly can fill in for me and it is going to be hard for her as she works every day. I know that she can handle it fine but it is just alot of extra work for her but maybe that will keep her out of trouble lol.
Was sick again and in ER on Monday AM but got my fluids and some meds by IV and now I am feeling great and just hope I continue to do so. We will be going through New Mexico and they are having our fires it that diction so I dread that as it bothers my breathing but I feel sorry for the people that have to live there and the ones that have lost so much. It has been bad every place seems like to me.
Guess I will get up and start to clean the house some as I want to get that all done before we leave. I hate to come back to a dirty house

Saturday

Today is starting off not such a good day as I have been up since around four this am and I feel like a mack truck has run over me. I think I have a full blown cold or something. The air quality has been bad here and so guess this goes along with it in our little bit of heaven here but it has been bad ever place so guess I had better not complain.
With that said I don't know if I will go to McDonald's this Morning or not I don't want to give what I have to any one else of course Carl won't see it that way. It doesn't matter as long as we can drag up there. God forbid if we missed day or so. It is sad when that is the most important thing in your life and that is the way it has gotten. When did we get to be old and what has happened to us.
It sounds like I am complaining but I don't mean to be I guess I am feeling sorry for my self this morning early if I felt better I would go back to bed and sleep a while. Maybe I will go and sleep in my chair like all the rest of the little old ladies and old gents do. There I go again. I have to get my self out of this mood some way. I will hush for now as I always go back to the feeling sorry for myself and I don't like being that way. So have a good day and will be back in a more positive mood letter just poor old me

Monday

Well here it is the day after Memorial Day and it was a day sort of like the rest of our days. We went to McDonald's this Morning and met the group and then we came home and I took lunch to Claude and then down to Lowe's to get new toilets for each bath room and of course we had to stop for Ice Cream at McDonald's so you can see McDonald's would go belly up is it wasn't for us.........
We are going up to our Restaurant that we have here in the village for tacos as that is there special for tonight. We are Meeting Bob and Shirley up there and that is always fun.. So have to go and get ready and after that it is over to Claude to give him dinner

Saturday

This has been sort of a nothing day and I don't know why. It is warm here and we have the air on and I took a nap and now I am doing laundry. We went up to McDonald's this morning and met the group and our group is getting smaller all the time as the snow birds are leaving now.
Shelly is doing Claude for me so I have the weekend off and that is nice but I just had two weeks off as Claude Son was here so Carl and I took off to Laughlin NV. We stayed at the C0lorado Belle and we sure had a good time but didn't win any thing. We drove over to Lake Havasu and saw the London Bridge and that was a fun day.
Now we are just home and I need to clean the house but think that will happen tomorrow as I don't feel in the cleaning mood today.
We are having a cook out here for Memorial Day and Ron and Layl and Alyson, Shelly,Helen, are all coming over so that should be fun. Well guess the clothes are calling me so will finish the laundry

Happy Mothers Day

Some people just have one Mother but I was lucky enough to have two one gave me life as an baby and one gave me life when she gave me her son So Happy Mothers Day Dear Mother McAninch and Mother Nordin and thank God I have been so blessed to know both of you......
I have also been blessed as a Mother my self God gave me one and then he sent four more into my life and they all have given us seven wonderful grand children and now we have grown with one more Daughter Alyson who is such a dear and fits in so well. I am sure her Mom and Dad won't mind sharing her with us. Our lives get richer all the time

Saturday

To day was a great day went to McDonald's and had coffee. Not to many people there today but was still nice. Tomorrow is Mothers Day and we are going on a picnic to Canyon Lake and I can hardly wait. It is very pretty up there and it is right next to the swimming area. I will take lots of pictures as the day goes on. Just wish all the kids could be down but we will see them the last part of June. We are going to MN. for Kelsey's Graduation party and we are driving so we can stop in Sheldon, Ia. and also in Omaha, Ne. So this should be fun. Well it has been very warm Yesterday it was 100 and today it was 99 so guess Summer is here. Well it is getting my bed time so Good Night to all.............

Thursday

It has been a wonderful day. I cleaned house today and it was needing it very bad. We went to McDonald's this A.M. Our friends were not there as they are baby sitting their Son's Dog. Carl did Claude for me so I could finish the cleaning and I got it done. Sunday is Mothers Day and we are going on a picnic to Canyon Lake. Carl and I and Shelly and Alyson are all going and there is swimming there so maybe we will do a little of that. It is so pretty up there and I reserved a Table already so we are all set for some good food and company. We will sure miss the other kids but I will have them close as they are always in my heart. I am so blessed to have wonderful kids that we have and Grand and Great Grand kids. Thanks to all of you. You fill our hearts with love

Friday

Well here it is Fri. and it would be a real good Fri. but Heidi has to leave today so that takes the good out of this Fri. We sure have enjoyed her as we always do. She is a joy to be around. She has had a head cold so stayed around here and she has joined the old people at McDonald's of morning with us and every one up there loves her also. I could say she fits right in but what would that be saying for her. We wish she was here all the time but it is so good of her to come down to see us every year. She took us all out to eat last night and we had a blast. Have got to get some pictures this Morning and will post them latter.

Well here it is Tues. and we picked up Heidi at the airport last night and then out to eat with her and Shelly at Olive Garden. Was sure nice seeing her she sure looks good and of course she is single also. We went to McDonald's this Morning and then alittle shopping as she had to get a few things and now she is at the pool laying out in the sun and she took a book and lunch with her so she is going to be there for a while. We have to go to the grocery store as we are having a little get together tomorrow night for dinner. I am fixing taco salad and baked potatoes with all the toppings and hope everyone enjoys it. Well guess I will get up and check on the birds as they are sure getting big now I think they will be flying away soon. Will hate to see them go as Carl and I sure love to keep an eye on them.

Well it is nice and warm here and suppose to be even hotter tomorrow. It is suppose to be around 98 and that will break a record for here. Hope this don't mean that we are going to have a real hot summer and a long one. We are suppose to go to MN. in June for a Graduation for our Grand Daughter and back in Aug. for our Grand Son's Wedding. So getting out of this heat might not be such a bad idea Haaaa.
I read Heidi Blog and it was so interesting but she always writes good and has good information We are getting company on the 11th as our Great Grand Son is coming down with his Mother. then on the 18th Daughter #3 ( Heidi ) is coming down and I can hardly wait.

Well I told you last post that we were going to Marge's for her special dinner and we did and it was wonderful. She fixes mashed potatoes and then noodles then chicken then gravy over all that and for Deseret home made lemon and rhubarb pie and Ice Cream. What a feast and real good company and of course a few games of cards.
Today it has been around 86 and of course sunny. I took lunch to Claude and Carl is taking dinner to him tonight. Shelly is bringing dinner over for us. Where she works they furnish lunch and the girls that work there take turns bringing home the left overs so this week is her turn so last night we had Chinese and tonight we are having Mexican. So I don't cook this week.
I had my eye brows done over yesterday and they are alittle bit sore and I hope they last a long time as it hurt when they are done but not to bad I guess.
Well that is all for tonight I have watched a litltle t.v. but nothing is on so I am out to the front porch to sit for a while.

We are going over to Marge's tonight for dinner as Ashely and Chase is down visiting so Marge is having some people over for her special meal and what a meal it is. She is making home made pies also so we will be feasting tonight.

Here it is Monday afternoon and it is a beautiful day here in sunny Az. I want you to meet out newest family member she decided to build a nest on the lights that we have strung across our front porch.
She isn't afraid of us as we come and go and she let me up close to take these pictures. There are two that always comes to our water fountain and I think the other one is trying to build in the wreath that I have on the front screen door and if she keeps trying I will have to take it down because then we couldn't use our front door and a cat could get her there as we have alley cats here.

Here I am again and just wanted to post this picture that I took on the way back from Vegas it is along the side of the road but the interesting thing is there is a purple orbs beside the tree. You may not believe in this sort of thing but I have quite a few pictures with them present. Well I am really off to bed now so good night

well it is Fri. night and Shelly took dinner over to Claude for me and Carl and I went out to eat with Gerald and Helen and all had fish at Red Sage in Gold Canyon and it is the best fish I have had since we left South Padre Island, TX. We always went to Pirates Landing in South Padre and ate Grouper which is great fish. Well I am going to bed as it is 11 p.m. here and I am getting sleepy. Well here it is Fri. and I don't know where the week went to and it is already gone. We may go out to the Organ Pizza tonight with Marge and Ashley and her Boyfriend. They are here for a few days and Sunday it Marge's birthday and I think she is 39 but I don't know how many times she has reached this haaaaaaa.
Carl is out spraying the rocks to kill the weeds and I will probably loose a few flowers but that is alright at least he is doing it. I am not doing to much today just lunch for the guy that I take care of and then Shelly is taking dinner over to him tonight.
Well it is lonely around here now as Jake went back to MN. We sure do miss him but just want him to be happy and healthy and maybe this will help we sure do hope so. until next time signing off have a great day

Well here I am been up since about four a.m. this morning couldn't sleep have a cold or just sinus trouble one. I feel like some one ran over me with a truck and probably look like it to.
Went to Sunland G Sales yesterday and we had a ball. Got up early and Shelly was here about
6:45 and we were off to the neighbors for coffee and rolls then four of us hit the road on the Golf cart and had a blast. At about 9:30 Alyson came over and then I stayed home and they all went out for about an hour. I had to fix lunch for my guy that I take care of. It has been very busy for the last few days but I like it that way. We have such good neighbors here in Sunland. Well guess I will hush for now and try to sleep a little while as I have to clean house or move and I don't think Carl is in the moving mood. I just had a sneezing spell. I some times sneeze for about twenty times or more and I hate that.

Today is a wonderful day we took the Guy that I take care of out to lunch today to get him out an about for a while. He loves to get out and watch people for a while. Was going to Laughlin, NV. but Jake left for MN. on Mon. and Carl went to air port with Shelly. We will reschedule latter. I think we both need it for a couple of days and just get away by ourselves for a while. Carl is sleeping in his chair and seems like he sleeps a lot now and that makes me sad as I realize we are getting older and that is scary at times. We are still going up to McDonald's most every morning and meet the gang.

We are having Sunland Sales this Sat. and that will be fun as I run around to all of them on my golf cart and if I need any thing picked up then I call Carl to come with the pickup. Well that is just about all that is going on down here now.
